AppleInsider is reporting that the latest Leopard build seems to be geared toward improving MobileMe syncing with portables under various circumstances. The build also includes the usual laundry list of bug fixes. As of today we've not heard of any timetable for the release of the next Leopard update. We'll keep you posted.

I just received an email from Apple stating that they're giving me an additional 60 day extension to my subscription because of all the problems they're having. This is in addition to the 30 days they gave us a few weeks ago. Although I haven't had nearly the problems many MobleMe users have had I'll take the 90 day extension. Here's the text of the email:

We have already made many improvements to MobileMe, but we still have many more to make. To recognize our users' patience, we are giving every MobileMe subscriber as of today a free 60 day extension. This is in addition to the one month extension most subscribers have already received. We are working very hard to make MobileMe a great service we can all be proud of. We know that MobileMe's launch has not been our finest hour, and we truly appreciate your patience as we turn this around.

Seems like they're really trying to make things right with their customers. I'm happy with that.
