Since RapidWeaver 4 made its appearance many months ago I’ve had problems. The biggie was RW’s penchant for hanging (unresponsive) on Save. I’ve experienced this on and off since the 4.0 release and have suffered lost work more than once because of it. Sometime in August, however, I figured out a work-around. So far it hasn’t failed me yet but it’s a hard habit to get into.

Now that I’ve got you on the edge of your seat I bet you’re wondering what this magical work-around involves. Maybe an eye of newt and an incantation or two? Nope! Just click the red close window widget when you want to save instead of File>Save or +S. Seriously, it works. I don’t know why but since using this method I’ve yet to have RW hang upon Save with the resulting lose of work. It’s wonderful!
